Business Compass is a FREE startup programme for people with international background aspiring to start a business in Viken fylke (formerly Akershus, Østfold and Buskerud). The 3 months programme will equip people with foreign background living in the district with the training, tools and tailored individual follow-up they need to successfully start and develop their own business in Norway. The programme is developed based on best practise startup programmes for immigrant entrepreneurs in Norway.
The programme in a nut shell:
- 15 participants only
- Starting date: 1 December 2020
- Ending date. : 31 January 2021
- Applications via www.businesscompass.no
- 4 full days seminar with topics including company structure, legal requirements and reporting duties regarding taxation and accounting, business
development, marketing management, selling and networking in Norway (Viken and Oslo region).
Locations: Jessheim and possible other places in Viken (will be announced later) - Access to online platform for self-study of essential business course modules as well as access to a multitude of startup tools
- Access to live digital business plan
- Dedicated mentor for close follow-up of participants
- Introduction into network opportunities in Viken
